Disconnected Life

In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on. – Robert Fros

Ever seen some error message on your laptop screen like this one : “Unable to connect to the server”? Everyone should know what’s the meaning of that error message. It means the internet connection is temporarily down with certain reason. Some of us will start cursing and saying bad words because maybe we got that error message when we were in the middle of something important. Today I did get the same problem. I was on sitting on the corner of Starbucks Coffee located in skyline building sarinah, Jakarta doing my research on something and suddenly I got that error. Damn! I said. I kept pressing the F5 button (refresh). 5 Minutes later, I gave up. At the moment I gave up on trying to make my internet connection came back to life, I then started to look around. I saw my neighbour, japanese girls, she seems very busy with her english dictionary, and a girl on my right hand side, busy eating her tiramisu cake. Then I finally turned my head up to see the sky, which was very clear today. I can see the troop of clouds lying on the lovely blue sky.

Something then popped up in my mind. Have we actually very busy with our works, with our habits, or maybe with our thoughts and imagination? We forget to simply just to look around us. To see what is surrounding us, to acknowledge , to learn something and to give thanks for what we see. When the hassle comes, sometimes it means we need to stop and take a rest for a while and to enjoy our life to the fullest. Sometimes, It also means time to be grateful and we could still breathe until that very moment. Keep struggling with your problems and find the solutions for it are very good things to do but we need also realise that we need to take time to rest. We need our time to actually live.

Stop from what you are doing right now just for a couple of minutes and then see what is going on around you. Believe me, it’s worth it! I finally did came back to my consciousness and then smiled. I now have a new point of view to always appreciate life and what is around me. I like the Nutrilon Royal ads’ tagline which saying: Life starts Here! Take a look around you, learn from them, see what they do and then breathe your life! enjoy!
